VyPr
VyPr is a Halo speedrunner who began their journey in July of 2019, initially focusing on Halo 2 Uprising Skull Runs. Their first official solo runs were recorded in Halo: Reach upon its release on PC. VyPr quickly established a name in the community with strong performances, including a tied world record on New Alexandria and a Top 8 Full Game Time.
In February 2020, VyPr shifted their focus to Halo 3: ODST, where they achieved a Top 4 time in every Easy category and earned Trophies on all levels except for NMPD HQ and Kikowani Station. In collaboration with Harc, VyPr helped discover numerous tricks that significantly improved run times across the game.
Later in 2020, VyPr advocated for tracking Mombasa Streets on Haloruns, which led to a controversial period involving inappropriate remarks concerning a rule change that removed Armory from Halo 2 full game runs. As a result, VyPr, along with Seclusive and Xero, received a six-month ban from the site, which was later extended by another six months due to ban evasion.
VyPr returned to the community in 2021 and has since focused heavily on strategy development, which remains their primary area of contribution within the Halo speedrunning scene.
